Chlorpyriphos is an organophosphate insecticide, which acts as a neurotoxin. It acts by inhibiting of the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, that is essential for normal function in insects. Alphacypermethrin is a highly active pyrethroid, with broad-spectrum of application that acts as a stomach and contact poison. Trualfaban – CLORPYRIPHOS 16 %+ ALPHACYPERMETHRIN 1 % EC is a combination product consisting of CLORPYRIPHOS 16 %+ ALPHACYPERMETHRIN 1 % EC, which enables it to provide a more effective cover due to its dual action on insect central nervous system.
Mode of Action :- Trualfaban – CLORPYRIPHOS 16 %+ ALPHACYPERMETHRIN 1 % EC has dual channel of action on nervous system of the insect, that is, Chlorpyriphos acts by inhibiting production of acetylcholinesterase enzyme disrupting nerve signals and compromising the nervous system of insect. And Alphacypermethrin affects the central nervous system by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in the axonal membranes.
